Children are a vital part
of life at Morningside Baptist Church and we want to help them
in a variety of ways to learn more about Jesus. It's always great
to have new children join us.
Each Sunday at 11.00am, there is a creche for children
under 3 years old, which runs throughout the service.
At 11.30am, after a time of all age worship, the
children go to Sunday Club until the end of the service.
In the beginners group (3 to 6 years old) the children
have refreshments, singing and a story and the children split
into age groups for activities.
In the Primary Group (ages 7 to 12), we share news,
pray and play games. Our classes are split by age for activities
as well as to help the children get to know each other better.
During the summer we have a week
long holiday club which is great fun for those who come, from
our church, the local area and friends.
Another exciting event is Easter
Camp, were children aged 8-12 years from Holiday Club and Sunday
Club go away for a week’s camp together.
All our Sunday Club leaders are trained in child
protection and are certified by Disclosure Scotland.
