Morningside Minis
If you and your baby or toddler want to get out, meet new friends and have fun then morningside minis is for you!
Just come along on monday or tuesday morning at 9.30am to the lower hall at mbc holy corner and you will find a warm welcome from the minis team.
(PLEASE NOTE: during the Summer Months, Morningside Minis is continuing to meet, but on Tuesday morning only - 9.30am at the Lower Hall. Normal Minis, on Monday and Tuesday morning at 9.30am, resumes on Monday 23 August)
Mums, Dads, Grandparents, nannies and childminders are all very welcome. We have a separate quiet area for babies and crawlers and then other sections of the hall designated for soft play, play cars and garages, a house corner, dressing up, jigsaws, dollies, stickle bricks etc - in fact pretty much everything the discerning toddler should require!
After our snack song at 10am we enjoy snack - organic fruit and biscuits for the children and home baking (the pecan and apricot cake is the current favourite!) and coffee/tea for the grown ups. After snack we offer a special activity for the older children which takes place in the lounge off the lower hall. Often this is a craft (finger painting, play dough, making cards, etc) or story telling, or larger floor jigsaws, simple puzzles etc.
At about 10.50am we all come together for our singing time. Lots of action songs - probably the highlight for most of the chidlren who come along!!
