Men at MBC

At MBC we want to explore what it means to be men pursuing passionate lives in relation to God, each other, our work and faith. It's about three words that sum up grasping the adventure - living committed, godly and purposeful lives. We want to clear some space where guys can become what they truly are and not what the world tells them they should be. We want to bring guys together through breakfasts, one-off evening events, an annual retreat, and regular social events.

Mentoring and Prayer

At mbc we encourage everyone, including men, to be involved in a mentoring relationship. This is usually with someone older who has been there before and is on hand for support and advice. Their wisdom and friendship is an incredible blessing to everyone who has a mentor.

As well as mentoring we encourage people to set up prayer triplets. This simply involves 3 guys meeting together to pray for one another.

If you are interested in mentoring or prayer triplets please contact Kenny (kenny@mbc.org.uk)

Men's breakfast

We meet on the second saturday of the month at 8.30am at mbc holy corner to discuss and pray and of course eat breakfast!

We look at how we can again capture the passion and excitement of the adventurous heart that Christ has given us - that we see in Joshua, Caleb and many others in the Bible - and indeed through out history - to be men of faith - recognising that it is not always easy - yet knowing that Our Lord is with and fights for us - as we follow the adventurous path that he has laid before us.

Bacon and sausages are sizzling from 8.30am and there are cereals, croissants and fruit for those of us who would prefer something a little lighter.
