Students @ MBC

Students at MBC are invited to to share together in the adventure of following Jesus. This is the vision of our Church:

"We exist to be a family of people who knowing God, standing on his word, moving in his spirit, living out his kingdom are seeking the transformation of our lives, our city of Edinburgh, our nation of Scotland and the world."

As a student community we are all about how to live this out amongst a life of lectures, late nights, long lies and loud clubs. We're learning how to live free and full because of the love of God and how to be generous with the outrageously good news about Jesus Christ so other people can know it too. We're learning that we need each other. We've decided the best way to do all this is in student communities.

We sometimes we have student gatherings to worship and learn and pray for each other but primarily we are part of smaller groups called student communities. These are small groups of friends going deep with God and learning how to live out the gospel of Christ as students.

Together all we are tying to love others outrageously and bring the good news of Jesus Chistto others who do not yet know Him. We believe everyone is missionary and you have been called to Edinburgh for a purpose. Student work at MBC is designed to enable and equip you to do this; to bless others and share the love of God with them as you yourself are being transformed by God.
