The Alpha Course
Who is the course for?
The Alpha Course is for anyone! Some people come because they want to investigate whether God exists or if there is more to life.
Some people come who have attended church on and off but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith.
People come from many different backgrounds, holding many different viewpoints - but all come with the same objective: to establish whether Jesus Christ has any relevance for their lives.
So what happens?
The evening is relaxed and informal. We drink coffee and chat. Someone gives a lively and provocative talk on some aspect of why Jesus may be relevant to life today.
We then get into small discussion groups. This is a chance to get to know people, ask questions, and think and talk through what is one our minds. Most people find the discussion groups are the best thing about alpha.
There really is no "agenda" - people are free to say what they really think.

You do not need to sign up in advance. We will register everybody on the first night of the course. However if you are planning to come for the course it would be great if you could let us know in advance, so that we can plan catering.
