inter:act
Inter:act is open to anyone of any age and stage of life, able to commit to the programme from October 2009 - June 2010.
The teaching programme will help you to
- Grasp the big picture of God's word
- Tackle key doctrinal issues
- Engage with culture
- Explore leadership issues
- Examine other faiths and objections to the Christian faith
- Unpack pastoral issues
- Apply this to all areas of your Christian life
Each member of Inter:act will spend 3 sessions a week in training and study, engaging with seminars delivered by a variety of teachers and specialists.
Throughout the year you will be committed to a local community project, giving time each week to become involved with the needs around you.
Each member will carry responsibility for some jobs around the church, learning to serve wherever there is need as well as growing in areas of gifting.
There will be flexibility to take on part time paid employment should that be necessary.
The programme runs for 3 academic session starting in october and finishing the following june. The fee for the year is £600 and you will also be required to cover your accomodation and living expenses for the year. There is also the possibility of an overseas trip during the programme.
