Morningside Healing
Morningside Healing is a place where people come and receive healing prayer. It provides a safe, caring and confidential environment where anyone can come to receive prayer, without charge, for all kinds of physical, emotional or spiritual healing in the name of Jesus.
Jesus proclaims the Kingdom of God, and demonstrates its power by healing the sick; moreover, the Bible tells us that Jesus gives us power and authority to heal the sick (Luke 9:1-2). So we are a group of ordinary Christians from different local churches, trained volunteers, who operate under the authority of a local advisory board. We provide a missional expression for those on the team who are mbc members and you might like to join this ME. We are built on the ethos of the International Association of Healing Rooms and share the apostles' prayer of Acts 4:30
"Oh Lord stretch out your hand to heal and cause signs and wonders to be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus."
At Morningside Healing, we see people's lives touched by God. People have written:

Morningside Healing operates from The Old Schoolhouse, 140 Morningside Road (EH10 4PX). Every Wednesday we meet as a small group for study and prayer - 11.15am-12.15pm; as a fellowship group with packed lunches - 12.15-1.00pm; as a worshipping community - 1.00-1.50pm; and as a healing ministry - 2.00-3.30pm when we are open to everyone, whether or not they have any church connection. No appointments are necessary - we operate on a first-come, first-served basis. You are welcome to join us for any or all of that, and - additionally - we take booked appointments of up to 3 hours for 'Inner Healing'
