A ME with a heart to reach the community in the areas of Oxgangs and Collington Mains, to develop the opportunities created by street team and to work with local churches to minister to young people & their families.
Oxgangs is a close knit community in the south of Edinburgh, where many live in council accommodation and unchurched teenagers find little to do. Street Team have been building bridges with the young people and seeing them respond spiritually. There is great potential to take the love and power of God to the people who live there, expressing church in a way which will appeal to them. This ME will be a witness to Oxgangs, rooted in the area, with devoted people able to have a greater & more lasting impact.
