Baptism and membership
Being a Baptist Church we are committed to the practice of believers' baptism, i.e. baptism by immersion of those who express personal belief in Christ as Saviour and Lord.
This however is not a pre-condition for membership.
Membership of the church is open to those who trust in Jesus Christ. For example, someone who has been "christened" and who counts this as a valid baptism may be accepted into membership on the basis of their personal trust in Jesus Christ.
Such persons will nevertheless, be asked to consider the issue of believers' baptism and to support our practice as a fellowship.
