The idea of rooted is that the whole church family follows the same rhythm of devotion to Jesus. This blog is here to encourage common discipleship principles and practices. The morning bible reflection will be changed daily and the news section updated regularly but the midday and evening templates will stay the same…for now.
The Rooted Vision
In this season we want to commit to growing deep roots.
rooted is a season of intentional missional discipleship that will run until Christmas 2012. As a community of missional disciples, we’re committing to strengthening our stakes so that in the coming months and years we can enlarge the place of our tent. (Read Isaiah 54).
All over the city in time and action we’re committing to gather in prayer, daily. This is an invitation to a daily rhythm of devotion. An invitation to common time, wherever you are in the city. Morning, Midday and Evening - time to stop, time to pray, time to be still. Together. A short scripture and comment will be updated daily at http://www.mbc.org.uk/rooted to go along with the morning rhythm. There will also be additional resources to help you to go deeper in personal rhythms of devotion.
rooted is an invitation to an adventure with Jesus. in this season, we’re committing to putting down deep roots. we want to know who God is and be all He made us to be. the invitation is to a daily rhythm of word, worship and prayer.

rooted is an invitation to an adventure with the world. in this season, we’re committing to the transformation of the world. we won’t dream small. we’ll do what God says, and we’ll see transformation. this is about loving the world Jesus is coming back for. come on!
